Best friend 1 by Sinned-angel-stock Best friend 1 by Sinned-angel-stock
A shoot I did with my best friend last night, trying to get more practice with my new camera. Not sure I will end up using any of these in my photography portfolio, but you never know. If anyone professional or semi-professional has any opinions, let me know. I need to get better at this photography thing.

Great portrait.  I really like this photo.  I used it here to practice some retouch techniques I picked up recently johnsoko3236.deviantart.com/ar…

I love your stock, and would like permission to use it in a piece off of dA.
I am basically making a video that showcases the characters in my Hunger Games fanfiction.
It will most likely be posted in a closed group on facebook, or on youtube. As with the nature of my videos, it will most likely have under 20 views in its lifetime.
I will be most happy to link you to the finished product, as well as credit you in the description box.

-Thank you!, I would love to hear back from you with a yes or no as soon as possible. If you wish I do not, I can easily find a replacement.

I always liked this picture, because the well-balanced colors and contrast and the nicely caught personality.
I hope you don't mind if I use it as a reference for a portrait in oil colours.

You should try taking a photo class, they really teach you about how to take photo's.
I'm in one right now and it really helps you get a perspective on how to take good photo's

I agree with :iconalinepotter-stock: . Angles are always good for photography. I'm no professional, but I know angles are a good thing. :) It's still a good photo though, stock or no. :) I like his hair! :D

Thank you. I only made it a stock photo because in the past if I didn't people will yell at me about posting things I won't let them use.

Ah, well, they shouldn't yell at you for that. If you choose not to let them use it, they shouldn't throw a fit. And you're welcome! :)

You should play with angles and perspectives. For stock it isn't the best thing, but for professional stuff, it might be just the thing that was missing. ;)

Right now I'm just trying to figure out the settings on the camera, and how to make it crisp, and how to deal with lighting, and all that technical crap...I just need some generic photos to put in my portfolio so I can start doing the fancy stuff with perspective, lol.
