So my inspiration was: [link]

I love the whole white on white thing...pale hair, pale skin, snow...it is just a striking image. Now...I have a really twisted thought process and my train of thought has a tendency to jump all over the place, so saddle up and try to keep up.

I thought: I'd love to do this.
I have darker hair than this.
That's okay, I can use corn starch.
I've always wanted to do a "messy" picture. I normally shy away from them because my health is poor and stock takes a lot out of me. Cleaning up camera equipment is hard enough after a couple hours of contorting, jumping, adjusting, etc, that I don't want extra mess to have to clean up. And since this contest was about getting out of your box, I thought, now's the best time.
So I dumped about a cup of corn starch on my head and viola.
I don't tend to do harsh-lighting pictures because I'm actually very self-conscious about my looks and I don't like to see my flaws highlighted so harshly. I also don't like opening my mouth because you can see I don't have teeth.

Nice. I love the look and expression. This is one of your best shots. The cropping is a little uncomfortable, but that seems to be the point. I did not even recognize you in this image. Good luck!

I love this one. It puts me immediately in mind of 'ghost' or 'wraith' or 'the girl from The Ring.' Kind of sad, and eerie at the same time.
