I think the power cord really adds a nice touch to this picture... (not really).

Other than that it really isn't that bad of a photograph. I bet you can really make amazing with a little photoshop.

::Sigh:: I REALLY wish people would stop talking about the freaking power cord.

I have a tiny studio apartment. Frankly you guys are lucky you don't get a picture of me standing in front of my fridge since it and this wall are pretty much the only two blank spaces in my entire crappy home, EXCEPT for that stupid power outlet. I'm not going to take the time photoshop out something so ridiculous out of 50 pictures since my STOCK is meant as a blank slate for others to use. They will probably put me in a forest or a castle or something so the entire background is going to go, so why bother fixing one small thing?

I don't even have sheets to tack up on the wall to make a blank background. We own no sheets. We sleep on a futon mattress on the floor and my blankets have obnoxious patterns on them.

You want to see something that I photoshopped the life out of to make it nice, look at my modeling portfolio. As for my stock, it is rough and if you prefer it some other way, there are plenty of other stock artists out there who completely take the background out so you get a person floating on a white space.

I don't see why the power cord should matter and I don't blame you for not taking the time to edit it out. This is a beautiful shot. The texture of the fabric is perfect.
